Message
from the Founder/President

Greetings,
I am honored to have your presence here
on our website. This has been an extraordinary journey. I am honored
and blessed by God to have been chosen to present " Honor
Thy Father".
In this day and time, we live in a dysfunctional society, where
it is actually normal to be dysfunctional, where many of our families
are disconnected, and so many of us are walking out of balance.
Our community is losing its men at an alarming rate. If we continue
business as usual we are doomed.
We need healing desperately, this has to be an inside job, it
has to start with us. There are a lot of good men out there, and
we want to know who they are because they are truly our role models.
They are a major component in our healing process because a lot
of our youth need male direction.
I am so excited about "Honor Thy Father" and would like
to give a standing ovation to three extraordinary men in our community
who, when I took my first step, in "Honor Thy Father"
they reached out in full force.
Jerry Kiper, CEO of Kia Incorporated, who walked by my side every
step of the way cheering me on, Muhammad Nassardeen of Recycling
Black Dollars, for his excitement, vision, and resources, and
Skip Cooper, CEO of "The Black Business Association"
who has given his support and resources.
My best wishes to all who are here to make a difference!
